Drawn to the beauty of architecture from young adulthood, it was the influence of a high school drafting teacher who spoke of the need for marketing architecture that led Amanda to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing from Montana State University. Before entering the AEC industry, she spent five years in the hospitality industry, obtaining invaluable formal customer service training. Amanda then went on to spend nine years at MEP Engineering, building up their marketing and business development platforms. In 2021, Amanda began her career at Coffman Engineers, serving as the Manager of Business Development. In this role, she works with executive staff to determine market priorities and supports seller doers achieve their goals.

A self-proclaimed “AEC People Connector | Amateur Mountaineer,” Amanda challenges colleagues and peers to carefully consider how our work impacts the planet and local communities. She remains focused on building collaborative and diverse project teams to deliver sustainable and resilient projects to be enjoyed by future generations. Outside of her professional life, Amanda is an amateur mountaineer who draws inspiration from the mountains, believing that life’s journey is akin to mountaineering – always focusing on the present moment and never looking down.
